When stakeholders aren’t aligned around a common vision and goal, they tend to each pull in their own direction. This means that progress along the path of making the next step in your master plan a reality is slow, halting, and can sometimes even take steps backwards. The key to overcoming this inertia and activating a project is finding a consensus where everyone involved is pulling in the same direction.
Aligning Your Stakeholders
Momentum has a proven process for aligning stakeholders around a common vision. It starts with research and discussions to better understand what the success looks like for your institution and the outcome of this project. We then lead an alignment activity where stakeholder can introduce and prioritize requirements for the project, sorting them into “must have,” “should have,” “could have,” and “won’t have.” We then build on this to develop a project charter and definition of project success that stakeholders can align towards as a common end goal.

Facilities projects are major investments for your institution and donors. The board and donors need to see a compelling case for approving funding for a project, and rightfully so. We work with your team to tell a story of the impact of this project.
