About Us

Jenny is Momentum's chief of design, with over a decade of experience creating welcoming, comfortable, and practical spaces in commercial settings.

Her interest in interior design began in her teens when she interned for various residential and commercial interior designers. After completing her degree in interior design at Washington State University, Jenny was drawn to the unique complexities of commercial design.

"People spend as much time at work as at home, sometimes more. They deserve to spend that time in an environment that makes them feel good. This is what I strive for every day at Momentum.”

Jenny delights clients with her ability to balance creativity with structure, meeting strict commercial building codes in an aesthetically pleasing way. Her expertise includes visioning sessions, starting with a client’s idea and a blank piece of paper and ending with a practical plan to bring that idea to life.

Outside of work, you can find Jenny scavenging the city for unique design finds and enjoying her two small dogs.

Colin leads Momentum's construction team, making sure every project team member has the tools needed to carry out their work smoothly, efficiently, and to the letter. He's been managing design-build projects for over 20 years, and he sees keeping clients happy and ensuring the delivered projects are held to the highest standart of quality as the most important parts of the job.

He believes his work is just as much about building relationships as it is building buildings, and that’s what gives him the passion to do excellent work.

"After eleven years here, I still have clients that I’ve had from day one. They feel almost like family to me. I try to stop in to see my clients and say ‘hi’ if I happen to be in the area. For me, the relationship is personal, not just business.”

Colin will work around the clock to take care of clients and make sure projects are done well, but his true devotion is to his two young sons. In his free time he swims and plays soccer with his sons and enjoys watching Huskies and Seahawks games with them.

Whitney has proudly served the financial industry and advocated for the credit union movement since 2007! In her role at Momentum, she uses her expertise to help credit unions and community banks discover their potential and deliver exceptional member and customer experiences.

She has worked on both sides of the table, having worked in commercial lending, business development, and operations at banks and credit unions as well as business development for FinTech firms. Now she is helping credit unions and community banks develop transformative strategies and merge their digital and physical strategies through high-performing buildings.

"I’ve always been passionate about financial wellness, and I’m excited to help credit unions find innovative ways to help their members live their best lives.”

In her free time, Whitney enjoys traveling with her family and friends and exploring the mountains of Montana. You can find her fly fishing, camping, and wandering in the national parks. She lives in Louisiana and serves credit unions and community banks throughout the country.

Terry is Momentum’s Chief Financial Officer, helping guide our organizational strategy and taking a hands-on role in client projects. She brings over thirty years of construction finance experience. Having worked her way up from file clerk of a local Seattle based electrical company in the early 80’s to the CFO role, Terry is very familiar with every aspect of construction financials. Her greatest strength is in connecting project and accounting teams to ensure that everyone is on the same page.

She also played a key role in founding Momentum as one of our original team members, and it’s the mission and the people who brought her back.

"When I was asked to come back, it was an easy decision. It’s the people who make Momentum what it is, and I’m coming back with the strength of broader industry experience. I appreciate the core values and ethics that make Momentum stand out.”

Jim leads projects through the intricate process of turning plans and drawings into reality. He has a comprehensive understanding of what goes into every stage of the work, having starting in the construction industry as a part time summer job and worked his way up through the ranks. Before joining our team he spent seven years managing his own general contracting firm.

His off time is spent with his family. He is passing his construction skills and dedication to quality down to the next generation by renovating the family home with his kids, much like his father did when Jim was a child himself.

Ian brings an entrepreneurial spirit to our project team in his role as Project Engineer. With a Business Administration degree from the University of Washington and experience building a successful business, he understands all the moving pieces that not only make a project successful but that also the impact that our projects have on our clients’ businesses.

With a passion for making plans come to life, Ian helps to break down components of a project into discrete tasks and source the materials and labor necessary to complete them.

"I love how I’m able to break a project down into small tasks, which consequently help bring the project to life. It’s satisfying to see a project through from planning to ribbon cutting.”

Our on-site superintendents are our boots on the ground, a constant presence on jobsites to ensure that everything goes smoothly.

Mike brings 26 years of experience to the table with a proven track record of keeping projects on schedule and making sure that work is done well. He’s been in the construction industry since high school, working his way up through the ranks from pouring concrete to supervising multi-million dollar projects.

When he’s not working, Mike enjoys spending time outdoors with his kids at the coast.

Mitch is a seasoned professional, with over 30 years of experience in commercial construction.

The builder’s gene runs in his family. Mitch’s construction experience began in junior high school when he worked under his oldest brother, who owned a construction company in California. He continued working as a mason for his brother while going to tech school, laying bricks during the day and studying to be an electronic engineer at night.

"I appreciate people who are craftsmen — people who take pride in their work and care about details, as I did when I was a carpenter and mason.”

Mitch’s construction background led him to a commercial construction company, where he worked on several Bank of America branches and other financial institutions. He also gained experience in financial retail space design and banking equipment installation.

Mitch enjoys finding great people to get the job done well. In the end, he makes sure that Momentum delivers a high quality product that meets each client’s expectations.

Bryn is an interior designer with a passion for creativity and helping others transform their vision into real, purpose-driven spaces. She recently graduated from Washington State University with a Bachelor’s in Interior Design, and before starting this role she had worked with Momentum through our interior design internship program.

Having graduated during the pandemic, Bryn brings a unique experience on the future of workplace design post-pandemic.  She came back to Momentum because she enjoys working with our design-build delivery model and the high level of collaboration not seen in traditional delivery methods.

"I love interior design because I’m helping design spaces that make a positive impact on people’s day-to-day lives on a larger scale.”

Bryn is a Seattle native that enjoys thrift shopping and refinishing mid-century furniture in her free time.

Josh works out of Idaho, helping our team turn our clients’ goals into reality as a project manager. He has a degree in mechanical engineering and has built a career in construction, giving him both a technical perspective and attention to detail as well as the ability to look at the big picture and see how a building project comes together.

He sought out his current role because it gives him ownership over projects and the ability to see them through from start to finish.

"The thing I like most about working on construction projects is seeing something being built from start to finish and being in a position to drive that process.”

He spends his free time enjoying it with his family and raising his young son.

Eric is a seasoned Senior Project Manager who makes large-scale projects come together.  He brings over 18 years of construction experience to the role in overseeing and managing diverse and complex projects. With a robust skill set and a commitment to excellence, Eric has successfully led over 60+ projects to fruition, ensuring their adherence to project timelines, budgets and quality standards.

His approach to project management is rooted in effective leadership, clear communication, and meticulous attention to detail.

"I enjoy the relationship building aspect of project management, especially building stakeholder relationships and encouraging a collaborative environment. Getting everyone aligned towards a common goal opens a path to seamless project execution and exceptional outcomes.”

Outside of work, Eric loves cooking for friends and family at going to local concerts and sporting events. He also has a sense of adventure, exploring the underwater world on scuba dives and taking his daughter on epic hikes.

Mark puts our clients’ projects on a path to success by effectively managing preconstruction activities, ensuring that every detail is captured and preparing a smooth hand-off to the construction phase. He brings decades of construction management experience with an emphasis on preconstruction to the team and adds a unique perspective that helps Momentum continually improve the process.

After emigrating from the Soviet Union, Mark studied engineering in college while working in construction industry. From finish carpenter to project manager and director of preconstruction, he maintained a high level of quality and client service.

Outside of work, Mark enjoys spending time with his family. You can also find him mixing sound at a local live concert or theater production, or recording music in his studio.

Frank is our eyes and ears on a project site, managing the site and subcontractors and doing quality control to make sure that work is done correctly and on-schedule. Before joining the team, he ran his own subcontracting business delivering wood and cross-laminated timber structures and finishing interiors, and he brings the same attention to detail to our clients’ projects.

Collaboration is Frank’s strong suit, and he excels at coordinating teams of subcontractors to their part of large and complex projects.

"I have a ‘get up and get it done’ philosophy.”

In his free time, you can find Frank fly fishing, golfing, building high performance diesel trucks, coaching soccer, hunting, riding dirt bikes, and spending as much time with his friends and family as much as possible.

Caitlin has a passion for transforming even the smallest spaces into models of comfort and efficiency, a passion that led her to pursue a degree in Interior Design from Washington State University and a career that establishes her as a leader in the field. As Momentum’s Senior Interior Designer, Caitlin brings her leadership skills to the role and provides mentorship and guidance to the design team.

Her love of interior design began early, watching design shows on TV and experimenting with paint colors on her own. Originally from Montana, Caitlin fell in love with Washington while attending WSU and made our state her new home. Her experience prior to Momentum includes luxury interior design as well as office relocations.

"I love how when you walk into a space that’s done well, it can actually transform how you see things. That’s what I try to do for Momentum’s clients.”

When not at work, you can usually find Caitlin enjoying the city lifestyle of her Queen Anne neighborhood in Seattle, hiking, or baking fresh pretzels. Follow her on Instagram to see her latest creations!

Frank has over 30 years of experience in the construction business as a construction supervisor. He has a breadth of knowledge and experience unsurpassed in the industry, particularly in credit union retail branches and headquarters.

Frank started his construction career as a bricklayer that served as an introduction to the fundamentals of constructing buildings from the ground up. Though his past job as a small business owner and a construction manager took him to many cities around the country, his heart is deeply rooted in Pittsburgh. 

"My job never has a dull moment. I manage sub-contractors, and because they all come from different cultures and have different personalities, it can be challenging. However, I have always been able to learn quickly from every crew’s working styles and get the projects off the ground seamlessly. At the day’s end, we have to deliver the best building for our clients.”

Frank enjoys meeting new people, exploring new cuisines and attending outdoor concerts.

Bob works on location, supervising projects full time and ensuring that projects stay on schedule, accurate to the plans, and are built to our high quality and safety standards.

He brings over 25 years of construction experience, over a decade in site supervision, to his role as a site superintendent, and he understands how projects work from both subcontractor and construction management perspectives. This gives him the ability to effectively manage a construction site and head off any problems that may arise.

Bob is a Washington native who enjoys barbeques with his family and friends and working his six acre hobby farm.

Paige is an interior designer drawn to the problem-solving aspects of the craft. She finds it incredibly rewarding to create retail and workplace experiences that enable community-focused institutions to support their employees and engage with their members and customers.

She initially went to school to become a film set designer, but as she progressed through the Interior Design program she discovered a passion for commercial design. Paige is drawn to the challenge of turning strategy into built environments and seeing people use and enjoy these spaces.

"Creativity and innovation is a byproduct of innovation. It’s the mutual desire to design and embrace new ideas, pushing the boundaries of form.”

When she’s not designing, you can find Paige enjoying Seattle attractions like comedy clubs and playing with her dog.

Mike has over 20 years of experience in onsite construction supervision. In his early 20s, he began his career in construction designing carpentry, and then transitioned into a project management role as a foreman and onsite superintendent. When he took the job with Momentum three years ago, it was a perfect match. On assignment, he travels to a different city every 18 months, which is a great opportunity to explore new regions and cultures.

After a few months in a new city, Mike can strike up a conversation with anyone on and off a construction site or golf course, just like a local.

Mike takes great pride in his ability to overcome the daily challenges of the job through preparedness, anticipation and creativity. His ability to work with people, including local sub-contractors, architects, employees, inspectors and project managers earns him great respect and trust from our clients.

Mike grew up in Port Angeles, Washington and he particularly enjoys hiking, camping and water sports.
