Throughout our process of delivering new branches and workplaces, we work closely with you to activate your brand via buildings designed for more meaningful and authentic connections.

How We Do It

Show, Don’t Tell.

We break down your branch and the ideas that you want to convey and integrate them into the branch environment in a way that shows these ideas implicitly. For a SEG group, they want to be drawn in with how their money can work for them rather than how they work for their money. Or if your brand integrates the natural beauty of the surrounding area, this brand expression could come through in selections of materials such as moss walls in the Pacific Northwest or driftwood on the California Coast.

Activating a brand in a way that celebrates your core values while also resonating with your customers and helping you differentiate requires the thoughtful process and expertise that our design team applies to every project.

Do your brand and your branches tell a story that your customers want to hear?

Picture a group of professionals, whether in a SEG or local industry, you want to reach. We will use healthcare workers as an example - you want to associate your branches and your brand identity with that industry.

In our healthcare example, the obvious strategy is to bring the atmosphere of a clinic to life in the choice of materials and finishes. Clean and sterile, using imagery of healthcare settings.

This does the job of connecting your brand to your customers’ profession. But is it the story your customers want to hear?

The last think they want to think about after a stressful day of work is their workplace. They want to think about the passion that drives them to this work.

NIH Federal Credit Union

Take a look at NIH Federal Credit Union as an example. The branch environment celebrates the credit union’s traditional healthcare SEG with a focus on wellness and biophilia. The design concept is a “tech spa,” a place where people can feel at home, take a breath, and relax. There is no teller line or teller pods. Instead, the branch features rather less formal conversation spaces surrounded by plants, a moss wall, natural wood, and textured wool furniture.
