In light of accelerating industry trends and the COVID-19 pandemic, we gave ourselves a challenge: Create a unique credit union concept and build our own vision for the branch of the future from the ground up. Introducing Co-Lab Credit Union!
The member experience comes first and foremost, and an open, welcoming design allows members to come in and bank on their own terms. The space supports conversational member interactions as well as private conversations, and the space can be quickly reconfigured for different branching models, after hour events, and to adapt to disruptive events such as COVID-19.
The digital experience is integrated into the branch environment as well, with touchscreen tables for new member onboarding and ITMs pulled into the center of the branch for more natural digital transactions.
The entire branch, including back-of-house, fully supports the wellbeing of members and staff and demonstrates a commitment to the mission of people helping people in every way possible.
The goal is to not only win over members and make them feel welcome and supported, but to also win the war for talent by helping staff take pride in both their work and their workplace.
